Store exclusives ~ A review

Hey everybody! So I wanted to show you all a few other items that I got along with Amelia. I got a few things from the exclusives collection! I didn't go to a AGP but AG has a sale and it sold a few items from there. So I decided to get them! They are super cute. And there are lots of mix and match potential. 

 So here's the over view.
What I got:
1. T-shirt
1. Pair of pants

And they do come with hangers which can be good if you don't have a lot of them. :) The pants come with  a outfit hanger where you can hang a whole outfit together, and the T-shirt came with a regular hanger. 

 Here's a close up of the T-shirt. The main color is red, and there are little stars in the middle of the shirt. It says American Girl at the top, and it says the store that it's from on the bottom. And no, I don't live in San Francisco, in fact, not anywhere close! XD

 Here's a close up of the cargo pants, and as you can see the main color is white. I really like these pants because you can match them with a lot of tops!

 I love the way it closes. There are two Velcro strips and there is one on the little flap, and one going down the pants where a zipper would usually be. And it closes really nicely and securely.

 Here's a photo of the back. And there's the AG logo.

 And there's a little red star decal on one of the side pockets. Adds a nice touch. :)

 And yes! The pockets actually work! I never like it when pockets are fake on AG clothes. I can fit two of my fingers in there! It's deeper than it seems so you can fit maybe a bracelet or something like that.

My journey begins ~ A photo story

Hey everyone! Yes! I am finally doing a photo story! This one is sort of different.

 It's from the perspective of Amelia the new doll in the family! 

 I had so much fun doing this! I totally forgot how fun it was. :) I hope you enjoy!

I stood in front of my new family's house. A humongous door stood in front of me."I guess this is it." I said to myself "Well, here goes nothing."

With my backpack slung around my shoulder with my few belongings,
I knocked on the door, while thinking back on the long trip from Wisconsin. It had taken two days to get here, and I was hoping it was worth it. "I wonder what they're going to be like." I thought.

A girl then answered the door. She had long wavy auburn hair, dark blue eyes, and freckles speckled across her cheeks. Trying not to stutter I spoke. "Hi, I'm Amelia, and is this where my new home is?"
The girl excitingly spoke and told me her name. "Hi! We weren't expecting you till tomorrow! But it's great that your here. Oh, and I'm Saige! Would you like to come in?" I wasn't quiet sure what to say, but I decided to except the invitation.

I walked in from they're gigantic door into their house. After a second of silence, she spoke. "How was your trip from Wisconsin?" I then told her about my trip and all of the things that I experienced. "It was really great!" I finally said. "Well that's good." She exclaimed, she then smiled back at me.
Then I heard a few faint voices yelling. "I told you I didn't want my bed made that way!" Said the first voice I heard. "You had the simplest job!" Then the other voice yelled back. "Well SORRY. How am I supposed to know what you want?"

Saige then rolled her eyes and sighed. She then explained to me who those girls were. "That's Claire and Mae. Your new um... sisters." She said hesitantly. "Oh great. What have I gotten myself into?" I thought to myself.

We then made our way up the stairs and into the room where the voices were.
"Girls! You all need to settle down! Amelia is here." Saige stated.

The two girls stopped what they were doing and started staring at me like I was some sort of alien from space. Embarrassed they then dropped the pillows that they were holding and one girl straightened out her hair.

A girl with brown hair, freckles, and blue eyes came up to me. "Hi! I'm Claire. And that is Mae." Mae then chimed in: "Hi there!" I said Hi back. I mean, what else would I say? "Hi." There was an awkward silence. I felt like crawling into a hole.
 Saige then broke the awkward silence. "So this is where you will live, and that will be your bed!"

She then pointed to a corner of the room where there was a twin sized bed with clean sheets, and a couple of pillows.

 I said "Thank you." as I was making my way towards my new bed. "Claire can help you unpack if you'd like." Saige exclaimed. "OK." I then said.

 Claire then followed me to my bed, and helped me unpack.

 I kept thinking of what was yet to come in my new life. I decided to ask Claire how she felt on her first day here. "Random question, so how was it when you first came here?" I asked Claire. She paused for a moment, then replied:

"It was only Saige when I came here, and then Mae came along soon after. I was nervous at first but I got more comfortable as the days passed on. You'll feel better once you get to know everyone here a little better. Trust me." She then smiled at me, and once again reached into my backpack to get my few belongings out.

"I think she's right, this place is going to turn out great." I thought to myself.

And I was right.

Fair isle Pajama review

Hello everyone!  I'm pushing the photo story with the girls learning about Amelia, to Wednesday. So look out for that. :) Today, I will be doing a review on a outfit that I got along with Amelia's order! Amelia will be  modeling the outfit for us. :) Enjoy!

 Here's an over view of the outfit
It comes with:
1. Top
1. Pair of leggings
1. Hair tie
1. Pair of booties.

 It is super adorable! The colors are really bright which makes it really cute. If you don't like pink, then this is definitely NOT the outfit for you. ;) But lucky me, my dolls love pink!

 My favorite part about this set are probably the leggings! They are full of cute colors and I love how they look on my dolls.

The little booties are just too darling! The only thing is that it's not very supportive at the sole part of the shoe. I'm personally OK with it, but again, that's my own opinion. I've heard a few people who don't like it.

 The leggings have a really cute pattern of little X's, and snowflakes! The leggings do have little hints of white and green every once in a while. It's super cute. ^_^ Even though this is meant to be a winter PJ set, you can use it all year round if you'd like!
